about

Born in 2008, Emile Behaeghel is a Paris-based jazz drummer.
He started music at age 5, learning guitar, piano, and music theory at his local conservatory. In 2022, he discovered the drums and began taking private lessons with Raphaël Pannier after a year of teaching himself. His passion led him to attend Berklee College of Music’s 5-Week Summer Program in 2024 and 2025 as a full scholarship recipient.

His musical interests range from jazz studies and African percussion to film scoring and live performance. Inspired by artists such as Tony Williams, Eric Harland, and Doudou N’Diaye Rose, Emile has already performed in multiple concerts and stage productions. He has played at Parisian jazz clubs such as 38Riv and Sunset/Sunside, and has taken part in charity concerts.

He is currently completing his high school diploma at L’École Alsacienne, with a concentration in political science, economics, and English culture. Beyond music, he is actively involved in international and cultural exchanges, humanitarian work, drama, and sports.
